About Rock for Tots
On Sunday, November 22, 2026, Jeremy Buck hosts the 21st annual Rock for Tots charity concert on Pier Plaza in Hermosa Beach, from 2 to 8 pm, with a tree lighting ceremony at 6 pm as part of the Hermosa for the Holidays celebration.
The concert and fundraiser benefits the Beach Cities Toy Drive, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that distributes toys to disadvantaged children, and the Harbor Regional Center Holiday Help Fund, which helps families with disabilities.
Guests are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to the Rock for Tots tent on the plaza near the stage. We also collect cash donations online and at the event for both charities. We hope you will join us and help make a difference for a great cause.
How it started
Jeremy Buck created the Rock for Tots charity concert in 2005 out of the desire to bring people together, make a difference for the community and create a greater good. The recipe was simple: gather as many talented musicians and bands as you can find, invite all of your friends and fans, and have everyone bring an unwrapped toy to donate, so that a child somewhere receives a gift that shines a little light of hope on their holidays.
Thousands of toys and cash donations later, the same desire still exists.

Harbor Regional Center Holiday Help Fund
Each year during the holiday season, Harbor Regional Center remembers the clients and families who are less fortunate. Some have needs that fall outside the guidelines for purchasing or providing services, so the center established the Harbor Help Fund, supported by donations. It pays for emergencies and basic needs such as rent, clothing and food.
Harbor Regional Center is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that serves more than 15,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities, and their families, in the greater Long Beach and South Bay areas of Los Angeles County. State funding covers services related to a developmental disability, but not the basic needs of everyday living. The Holiday Help Fund fills that gap.
Can't make it to the plaza? Give online.
Every dollar goes to the Beach Cities Toy Drive and the Harbor Regional Center Holiday Help Fund.
